The selection process

Step 1: The Shortlisting Process

The shortlisting process for the 12D Mentorship Programme is designed to identify individuals with the potential, vision, and alignment to benefit most from this transformative experience. It involves a systematic and thorough assessment of applicants to ensure fairness and the selection of candidates who resonate with the program’s goals.

  1. Purpose Statement Questionnaire:
All applicants are required to complete a detailed questionnaire designed to assess their clarity of purpose and alignment with their organization’s mission. This will allow candidates to articulate their goals, motivations, and personal values as they relate to the role and their company’s objectives.
  2. Professional Vision Questionnaire:
Applicants will also complete a questionnaire focused on their professional vision. This segment evaluates the candidates’ long-term career aspirations, alignment with the organization’s goals, and their strategic approach to personal and professional development.
Step 2: Submission and Evaluation

Upon submission of the completed questionnaires, the applicant’s responses will be thoroughly reviewed and evaluated by our selection team. This process ensures that we identify candidates who demonstrate a clear understanding and alignment between their personal values, professional vision, and the organizational culture and goals.

Based on the evaluation, shortlisted candidates will be contacted for further arrangements, which will include scheduling the next phase of the selection process—a one-on-one interview.

This structured process is designed to ensure fairness and to provide every applicant with the opportunity to showcase their strengths and potential.

Step 3: Psychometric Testing

Following the questionnaires, shortlisted applicants will proceed to a psychometric testing phase. This stage is designed to assess key cognitive and personality attributes that are critical to the role:

1. Logical Reasoning and Comprehension Assessment:
This test evaluates applicants’ problem-solving abilities, analytical thinking, and capacity for understanding complex information. It is aimed at measuring how well candidates can process and reason through information in a logical and structured manner.
2. Personality Assessment:
A personality test will be administered to gain insights into candidates’ behavioral tendencies, interpersonal skills, and how they may fit within the team and organizational culture. This assessment helps predict how individuals will approach challenges, collaborate with others, and contribute to the workplace dynamic.
Step 4: The Selection Process

Upon completion of the questionnaires and psychometric testing, the gathered information will be analyzed to create a shortlist of candidates. The insights from these assessments will form the foundation for selecting individuals who best meet the role’s requirements and align with the organization’s values and goals.

Step 5: One-on-One Interview Process

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to participate in a one-on-one interview. This personalized interaction provides an opportunity to delve deeper into the candidates’ experiences, aspirations, and alignment with the organization’s needs. The interview process will also allow candidates to showcase their interpersonal skills, articulate their motivations, and ask questions about the role and company.

This structured and comprehensive process ensures that only the most qualified and aligned candidates progress through the recruitment journey.
